With thechauffeur driven limousine service to and from the Airport, you no longer have to worry about ground transport. This facility is available to all full-fare Business class passengers and is currently in operation in London, Dubai and Singapore. SriLankan Airlines will provide you with a complimentary limousine if you are travelling within 50-miles (road distance) of London Heathrow. Requests for the limousine service should be made at the time of ticketing or 48 hours prior to departure.[1]
Transit Passengers travelling in Business Class, including those using the Air Taxi, are also hosted at SriLankan’s luxurious Serendib Business Class Lounge until their flight times. The world-class lounge has gained a reputation for providing the best transit experience for up-market passengers, with its wide range of services which are on par with the finest business class lounges in Asia. The lounge also provides a panoramic view of the airport.[2]
Each SriLankan Airlines Business Class seat is 19.5” wide (arm rest - arm rest) and they are placed two abreast- every seat is an aisle or window seat. Each seat is electronically operated with an adjustable footrest, headrest, and lumbar-support. You will have your own reading lamp, which will not disturb your neighbour.[4]
SriLankan Airlines offers a satellite telephone service connecting passengers to anywhere around the globe, at only US$ 5.00 per minute to call family, friends or business partners. Passengers can also send faxes from the onboard fax machine and charge their laptop computers at one of three charging stations on board any of the Airbus A330 aircraft as well as at one charging station on board the other aircraft. SriLankan also offers a seat-to-seat calling facility, which is free of charge.[7]
